Waste management in Thailand
In Thailand the roles in Municipal solid waste (MSW) management and industrial waste management are organized by the Royal Thai Government, which is then divided among the central government, regional governments, and local governments. Each government is responsible for different tasks. The central government is responsible to stimulate regulation, policies, and standards. The regional governments are responsible for coordinating the central and local governments. The local governments are responsible for waste management in their governed area. BGW provides services including contacting the industries and analyzing the waste in the lab so that the waste is treated safely. After analyzing the waste, if they are able to manage it safely, BGW provides the truck to transport it. Next, all of the wastes are classified at BGW.
